Break Attendant Supervisor

The Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center is looking for a full-time Break Attendant Supervisor to join our team! As a Break Attendant Supervisor, your primary responsibilities revolve around the guest experience. In Food Service, there are both service and product knowledge expectations, with a significant focus on maintaining a hospitable mindset. The team serves a combination of both Food & Beverage and does so in a variety of different venues.

Essential Functions:

1. Leads on-going training and supervision of break attendant staff in proper set up, serving and clean up procedures, uniform standards, and proper Hospitality etiquette, while ensuring a safe work environment.

2. Organizes break attendant staff by conducting pre-shift meetings and reviewing the specific needs of the day including service procedures, refresh times, menus, and special requests.

3. Assigns and ensures all prep, set up, closing duties and weekly cleaning tasks are completed.

4. Follow the daily assigned menu to prepare, set up, stock, take down, clean, and provide quality beverages and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to all BEO and presentation standards.

5. Monitor the freshness of food items and remove any food approaching the temperature danger zone.

6. Stock and maintain the use of all products and equipment to meet the demands of the guests.

7. Refresh rooms during specified break times, lunch and regularly throughout the business day to include emptying the trash and removing dirty dishes.

8. Maintain cleanliness standards to uphold company and health code standards including break stations.

9. Uphold the high standards of guest service by proactively assisting guests when needed in a friendly, professional and timely manner, greet guests as they approach using the 10-5 rule.

10. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

2. Ability to lift, reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull heavy workloads, exert up to 100 pounds of force and the ability to regularly lift 55 lbs.


Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

1. At least one year of experience in catering or fine dining

2. Attention to detail

4. Excellent communication skills

5. Guest-centric mentality with superior customer service

6. Flexibility in scheduling

7. Basic reading, writing, and math skills
